The Pagosa Nordic Club invites you to join them Feb 3rd at Coyote Hill for a fun moonrise/sunset soup & chili family X-C Ski social. Show up anytime between 4pm & 7pm, location Coyote Hill, and ski the groomed trails enjoying an easy ski under the colorful skies then meet back at the parking lot to enjoy homemade soup & chili and socialize next to campfire with hot cocoa and s'mores. (You may bring something to share though not required)
A great activity for families, and skiers of all ages and abilities. Dress warm and bring your head lamps or flashlights.
FREE Learn to Cross Country Ski Clinic

Coyote Hill
The Pagosa Nordic Club organizes free introductory Cross Country Ski clinics. Skate Ski and Classic Cross Country Ski basics are shared by some of Pagosa Springs best skiers. Come learn how to make these outdoor winter activities even more enjoyable. Just bring your ski gear, skate skis or classic kick and glide. All local ski shops rent X-C Ski gear and all offer special rental discounts for these clinics.
WinterFest Nordic Ski Races

Presidents Day 3 day Weekend.
More races and expanded courses have been added to this years event.
Citizens, competitors, families and kids welcome!!
~ Friday Feb 17th, Kids Races.~ Saturday Feb 18th, 1k/3k Classic Ski & 5k/10k Skate Ski.
Plus fun Relay race, Sprint Races and Mock (Paint Gun) Biathlon.
~ Sunday Feb 19th, 3k/5k Classic 10k/20k Skate races.
Awards and prizes for individual race events and combined scores.

The Pagosa Nordic Club is a 100% volunteer organization with a mission “To enhance winter recreational opportunities in Pagosa Springs by maintaining accessible groomed winter trails for skate skiing, classic cross country skiing & snowshoeing for all ability levels and to encourage and promote the use of these winter trails through education, marketing and events”.
